Hello!

I'm Cristi, an active designer in
the neverending user experience story

Mobirise

Glofox.com was an amazing opportunity to get on board with a fast-paced, innovative start-up offering management software solutions for gyms and yoga studios.

STORY MAPPING AND CUSTOMER JURNEY

I used this essential technique to visualise stories about developed software solutions and its users. The mapping helped me improve my understanding of particular solutions, identify gaps, and define implementation slices.

PROTOTYPING AND RAPID TESTING

To verify assumptions, find blind spots and quickly validate solutions, I used various testing environments such as Invision, Hotjar, usabilityhub.com and direct user behaviour observation.

DESIGNS PAIRED WITH BUSINESS RULES

Working closely with the project owners, I paired the designed assets with the business rules by using the same naming convention (e.g ID-1). This has created an enhanced clarity, streamlined production by reducing back-and-forward discussion.

Highlights

1

Led the making of a basic design system

I gave my significant value to key features aiming to meet user and gym member needs and hit the company’s growth strategy.

2

Designed intuitive solutions

for a strategic franchisor migration via the member app and web integration platform.

3

Created complex features such as sales tax or price display

on all the software solutions: dashboard (desktop), Glofox Pro iOS/Android, kiosk, web integration.

4

Keenly integrated into multi-disciplinary squads

and closely collaborated with PO, product director & engineers to define MVP and implementation stages, following a "service design" approach.

Focus on lean UX methodology

Over the last couple of months, I gradually contributed to a rewarding experience of ownership and proportionate decision making.

Research and rapid validation

It was important to focus on lean UX methodologies such as research and rapid validation within a multi-disciplinary squad dynamic.

Other highlights

Comfortable mentoring a junior designer on good design practices and smart use of sketch modular functionalities.
Able to work fully remote and to enjoy it.

Cartrawler.com

At Cartrawler, I contributed to improving the car rental and transfer software, especially for Ryanair and Laudamotion, but also to RFP projects for Uber or Wizzair, focusing on various car rental integration into the trip booking flows or the CRM campaigns.

Desktop integration into Wizz Air booking flow.

Integration prototype of car rental engine into Uber's app.

In terms of workflow strategy, I've been a vocal promoter and active contributor to modular design thinking. As such, the ongoing building of master repositories enabled the product design and engineering teams to deliver better and faster, reduce fragmentation and increase the overall input into the customer experience.
